Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer / Structural Inspector to join our clients consultancy team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, design drawings, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in structural construction activities.
Previous experience working for an engineering consultancy is essential.
Candidates with a contractor-only background will not be considered.
Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Available to join immediately or within one week.
Preferred Experience
Experience on building and infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with local authority requirements and inspection procedures.
Professional certifications are an advantage.
Responsibilities Duties:
Conduct site inspections of structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Monitor construction activities and identify any quality or technical issues.
Review and verify contractor submissions, inspection requests, and method statements.
Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate site records.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all structural activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements and safety regulations.
Assist in resolving technical issues arising during construction.
