Geotechnical Senior Project Manager
Job Description
The Geotechnical Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex civil engineering and subsurface exploration projects. The role ensures the successful execution of site investigations, foundation design recommendations, and client management while maintaining the highest engineering standards, structural safety, and project profitability.
Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a highly related field.

8+ years of dedicated experience in geotechnical engineering and project supervision.

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Preferred Skills * Excellent leadership, technical writing, and communication abilities.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple project sites simultaneously.

Proficiency with geotechnical design and modeling software (e.g., gINT, GeoStudio, LPile).
Experience Required 8+ years of relevant experience in managing subsurface exploration, foundation engineering, or civil infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and execute geotechnical project lifecycles, including scoping, budgeting, and field investigation planning.

Prepare comprehensive geotechnical engineering reports, settlement analyses, and deep foundation recommendations.

Review and approve engineering calculations, laboratory testing assignments, and technical site documentation.

Coordinate with structural engineers, drilling crews, construction managers, and environmental specialists.

Monitor field testing activities and promptly address unexpected subsurface soil or rock anomalies.

Maintain high quality control across all technical calculations, engineering logs, and final design submissions.
