Job Description
The Junior Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) is responsible for defining, mapping, and maintaining operational and functional architectures for complex platforms using modern modeling software. The role ensures the successful execution of technical requirement linking, structural system charting, and documentation compilation while learning and adopting senior-level systems validation frameworks.
Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a highly relevant engineering discipline.

1–3 years of foundational experience using professional MBSE environments.

Eligibility or active possession of a federal defense security clearance is preferred.
Preferred Skills * Basic structural awareness of SysML modeling environments (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw).

Strong analytical, analytical mapping, and collaborative teamwork capabilities.
Experience Required 1–3 years of introductory experience within systems engineering pipelines, technical documentation drafting, or behavioral software modeling.
Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and execute basic system modeling tasks, constructing functional blocks and sequence sheets under supervision.

Prepare descriptive system behavior flowcharts, verifying direct links to engineering text requirements.

Assist with regular data imports, database synchronization tasks, and operational system model reviews.

Coordinate with multi-disciplinary hardware and software engineering cohorts to accurately log subsystem dependencies.

Maintain cleanliness, synchronization, and proper configuration controls across all system-level modeling modules.
