Job Description

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory tracking, and warehouse staff workflows. The role ensures the successful execution of safe inbound receiving, precision storage categorization, and error-free outbound shipping schedules while maintaining strict workplace safety and inventory accuracy.

Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent; professional training in Supply Chain or Logistics is highly valued.

  • 3+ years of professional warehouse, distribution center, or inventory control experience, with proven team lead tracking.

  • Valid forklift operator license and basic computer literacy.

Preferred Skills * Practical leadership, spatial organization, and precise inventory control capabilities.

  • Deep familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcoding systems, and inventory tracking tools.

Experience Required * 3+ years of relevant experience directing warehouse shift work, executing physical stock audits, or organizing delivery manifests.

Responsibilities Duties:

Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and execute daily warehouse receiving, shipping, and put-away tasks, matching logs against purchase orders.

  • Prepare structured inventory reports, shipping manifests, and weekly stock reconciliation summaries.

  • Review storage space allocation and direct the organization of goods to optimize safety and retrieval efficiency.

  • Coordinate with procurement departments, third-party logistics (3PL) drivers, and safety auditors.

  • Monitor warehouse equipment conditions (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and promptly report maintenance issues or safety hazards.

  • Maintain absolute compliance with occupational safety guidelines (OSHA equivalents), local fire codes, and internal security rules.
