Registered Nurse - Obstetrics
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics provides comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods. This role collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and care for patients during labor and delivery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during obstetrical procedures and deliveries.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health status.
- Educate patients and families regarding childbirth and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation.
