Hospitalist (Nocturnist)
Job Description
The Hospitalist (Nocturnist) provides overnight inpatient medical care, managing admissions, acute medical issues, and coordination of treatment plans to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Active medical license.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
Responsibilities Duties:

- Admit and manage hospitalized patients during overnight shifts.
- Evaluate and respond to urgent medical conditions.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists and healthcare teams.
- Review diagnostic tests and adjust treatment plans.
- Maintain comprehensive medical documentation.
- Ensure smooth patient handoffs between shifts.
